You can help your entire family become healthier. It is a lot easier to stay healthy when you stay healthy as a family.
Kids know the basics of being healthy – like exercise, eat from the five food groups, drinking lots of water, getting plenty of rest, visiting the dentist twice a year, and washingyour hands often.
Did you know that You can actually help your parents stay healthy too?
How about asking your parents to make healthy choices with you? Ask your mom or dad if they will take a walk with you or go to the park or play Frisbee.
Talking with your parents about topics that are important to you also leads to emotional health and helps your parents to feel connected with you.
