Right to Be Safe

There are laws that guarantee that others must respect your rights to health and safety.

These Laws protect kids from living in fear. Kids should never allow anyone to do anything that violates your right to feel secure and safe.

Nobody has the right to treat you with disrespect, verbally or physically.

Kids are in charge of their own bodies and nobody can touch you without your permission. If anyone touches your body in a way that makes you uncomfortable – go and tell your parents, or the police right away.

Healthy kids are up to you. If anyone is making you feel uncomfortable - emotionally or physically, report them to your parents - your teacher or the police.
