Spending time outdoors can actually help you become healthier.
The fresh air is good for our lungs and the sunshine provides nutrients and vitamins that our body needs to be healthy. Spending time outdoors can help reduce heart rate and lower stress – both are good for your body.
Being Outdoors normally indicates the absence of inanimate objects like computers and TV and replaces them with awesome experiences like a walk through the woods and feeling the leaves crunch beneath your shoes.
Think about the quietness of snow fall or the echo of your voice when it snows? Howdoes it feel to be back on the grass in the early spring?
Healthy kids are up to you. Make sure you find some time to Get Outside – Get Active and Get Healthy.
